What are the processing techniques for alloy ring forgings

The processing technology of alloy ring forgings mainly includes the following steps:
1. Pre treatment: including cleaning, pickling, cutting, etc., to remove surface impurities and oil stains and ensure the cleanliness of the material.
2. Heating: Heat the material to the forging temperature, commonly used heating equipment includes single chamber furnaces, pusher furnaces, and desktop annealing furnaces.
3. Forging: Plastic deformation is performed on the heated material to obtain the desired shape of the circular forging. According to the requirements of steel ingot size and forging ratio, corresponding processes such as pier thickness and drawing length are carried out, and the forging size is monitored in real time. The forging temperature is controlled through an infrared thermometer.
4. Heat treatment: Heat the forging to a predetermined temperature, hold it for a certain period of time, and then cool it at a predetermined speed to improve the internal structure and properties of the forging. The purpose is to eliminate internal stress, prevent deformation during processing, adjust hardness, and make the forging more conducive to cutting.
5. Mechanical processing: perform machining processes such as cutting and milling on forgings to meet accuracy requirements.
6. Inspection: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on the forged blanks and finished products of circular forgings to check for defects such as cracks.
7. Surface treatment: such as coating, spraying, etc., to improve its corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
8. Mechanical performance testing: In order to meet customer requirements, it is necessary to test the mechanical properties of circular forgings, mainly including yield, tensile, and impact tests.
9. Warehousing: After quality inspection, the finished circular forgings are simply packaged and placed in the finished product warehouse for shipment.
